Ladies Night In

Are you sad Summer is ending? Did you spend basically all of your money over the bank holiday weekend and still have a sad bank balance? Do you like to have fun?  ...Do you like to win?

If you've answered yes to the above then you are our friend! A lot of us have found ourselves feeling a bit fed up now September is here. Yes, we wished for the A/W2014 collections to be brought out and did get a little excited when we took our coats out of storage but, suddenly the thoughts of the darker months aren't so appealing.

Not being ones to waddle in self pity though, we have decided to have a proper, affordable, Ladies Night In this weekend - and we're so excited! We're going to have a few cocktails/mocktails, a few snacks and a lot of television. In order to try and inspire you and your friends, we thought we would share one of our favourite drinks recipes with you. Bonus points to you if you serve them in mason jars with salt and lemons. You needs to go out to have fun?

Right, you need:

Tequila

Limes

Sea Salt

SodaStream Free Apple- Peach

Lemon

Ice

This couldn't be easier. Fizz up your 1ltr of water using your SodaStream machine and add 1 cap of the Free Apple-Peach.

Pour your coarse salt out on a plate. Cut a wedge of lemon and rub it around the rim of your glasses or jars. Now, tip the rim of the glasses into the salt. The lemon should make it stick.

Pour in some tequila, we usually pour it up to 1/3 of the glass. You can put in less or whatever suits yourself.

Add some crushed ice. TIP: if you like, you could flavour your ice with another SodaStream flavour, we recommend lemon-lime for this one!

Stir and pour in some of your fizzy drink. Garnish with a wedge of lime, sit back and enjoy!
